Cleaning scans on the computer by hand and correcting perspective takes me between 30min and 1h per page – so I had to set a limit for my own sake : at the moment digital cleaning will not be available for works that have more than 100 pages – which is still a lot. Might change in the future.
Fun fact (well, not so fun) : when cleaning the manuscript of Rite of Spring, Mrs. Minkoff almost lost her sight…
The example in this video (294 pages) is a complete orchestral score for Glück’s Alceste edited by Boieldieu before 1811 for such large works, I may also need to make two volumes because of binding limitations.
